We begin with the day you are planning, the people who matter and a small set of photographs you naturally respond to. This is about learning what feels like you, rather than handing you a standard package.

35mm wedding photography
A wedding, remembered on film.
Relaxed, observational photographs with natural colour, gentle grain and room for the day to feel like itself.
The approach

For couples who want photographs that feel like memories, not a production.
Film has a particular way of holding colour, light and small imperfections. It makes each frame more deliberate, but the photographs themselves should still feel easy and alive.
I'm developing my wedding practice, so I'm offering a limited number of weddings at an introductory rate. You get a thoughtful, personal process; I get the chance to build experience and a body of work I'm proud of.
Story 01

Working together
A shared process.
I translate those references into a proposed film and colour direction. Together, we agree whether the photographs should feel warm and soft, brighter and nostalgic, or include a quieter black-and-white thread.
We agree the important parts of the day, a short list of essential photographs and a looser list of things worth noticing: handmade details, particular friendships, meaningful places and the atmosphere around them.
I work calmly and unobtrusively, looking for real exchanges, small details and the atmosphere around the formal moments.
The rolls go to the lab, then I make a careful final edit. Rather than sending an unfiltered dump of files, I sequence the photographs as a story and deliver the high-resolution scans in a private online gallery.
Choosing the film
Not a preset. A decision we make together.
You do not need to know anything about film stocks. We use the photographs you like to arrive at a palette that fits your day.
Portra-like colour
Warm + soft
Gentle skin tones, warm earth and a calm, natural palette.
Gold-like colour
Bright + nostalgic
A little more sun, colour and the familiar feeling of family albums.
Optional black + white
A quieter thread
A small monochrome sequence for shape, gesture and intimate moments.
How this began
A wedding gift that became something more.
I never really set out to photograph weddings. I simply reached the age when friends were getting married and began offering to bring a few rolls of film as a wedding present. They really appreciated the photographs, and what started informally has grown into a small, deliberate part of my practice.
Working this way adds another perspective to the day. Alongside the familiar photographs, I look for the gestures, styles, personal touches and in-between moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Film makes that attention feel even more intentional: every frame is finite, considered and part of a story we have shaped together.
Greg's photography at our wedding blended intimate and traditional shots with some out-of-the-box moments. If you want a heartfelt catalogue of photographs, all done at a great price, and you have an affection for film as an art form, I would thoroughly recommend him.
Introductory offer
£300 for the day.
I'm offering a limited number of weddings at this rate while I develop this part of my practice. It includes our planning conversation, collaboratively choosing the visual direction, photographing your wedding on 35mm film, developing and a carefully edited gallery of high-resolution scans.
Before you book, we will agree the coverage, number of rolls, likely lab turnaround and any travel clearly—so you know exactly what to expect.
Tell me about your weddingBefore you enquire
A few useful answers.
How many photographs will we receive?
Film coverage is shaped by the number of rolls we agree for your day. I will give you a realistic expected range before you book, then deliver every photograph that belongs in the final edit.
When will the photographs be ready?
Film needs to be developed and scanned by the lab before I make the final edit. I will confirm the current lab turnaround and your expected delivery window before the wedding.
Are travel costs included?
Tell me where the wedding is taking place and I will set out any travel or accommodation costs clearly before you decide to book.
Is there a deposit?
The deposit, payment dates and cancellation arrangements will be agreed in writing, so both of us know exactly where we stand.
What happens if something goes wrong with the film?
Film is a physical process and carries a small amount of risk. We will discuss the number of rolls, how they are handled and whether some digital backup coverage would suit your day.
